Team Canada's co-captain Dave Willsie will be appearing in Ottawa on Friday, December 2nd, from 09:00 - 14:00 at the 4th annual Ottawa United Nations' Internatonal Day of Disabled Persons Event at the Westin Hotel.

The lunch time speakers will be broadcasted over a live web cast starting at 12:30 EST, which will be archived on the Canadian Association of Independent Living Centre's web site.

The Hon. Ken Dryden is an invited speaker, along with representative and their messages from various political parties.

Copies of the Murderball DVD will also be available for sale from the organizers.

Canadian athletes have been busy with their club teams lately, with National Squad member Dale Nording earning MVP honours at the Milwaukee tournament, and National Team member Erika Schmütz taking the best 1.5 award. Alberta Steel Wheels 0.5, BJ Engerdahl, earned a place on the Tournament AllStar Team as well.

Dave Willsie and the London Annihilators fought from a surprisingly low seeding (7th) and climbed up to 3rd spot at the 16th Annual Best of the West tournament in San Diego. Ian Chan was playing with the combined San Diego Team, OG, which comprises of former members of the now-defunct San Diego Bushwhackers, and Plan B.
