The team is now settling in to the second full day of their pre-Paralympic training camp in St-Jérôme, Québec, which will be followed up by camps in Birmingham, AL, Quebec City, QC, and a final one in Ottawa, ON. After that, we'll be off to Athens to defend our World Championship title and try to earn a Paralympic title to match it.

Here is a link to a BBC article that I came across that talks about the Brits recent tour in the USA and on the Canadian west coast. An earlier article on the Brits is also of interest.

I'm putting together a new page for the CWSA web site, with the schedule and rosters of all players going to Athens, and finding the actual teams is starting to be a bit of a problem However, besides our own team, which was previously announcedon the CWSA site, the boyz from Oz, the Brits, and the Americans, the other teams have proven a little harder to find.

Interestingly enough, the Aussies have a new "BabyBatt", who makes "The Kid" look like an grizzled veteran. The Yanks also list Will Groulx as a 2.5. Guess they just agree with the rest of the world on that one. ;)

More teams later...
