Preparations are underway for our new year back-to-back set of events in the US, and a schedule and a full set of rosters for the first event, the 14th Coloplast International, are now posted on the CWSA web site.

I'm still waiting for most of the rosters from the 2nd event, the Demolition Derby, and will post them in a similar file when I receive them from the organizers.

In other rugby news, the international rankings are now up to date, upon the conclusion of the Oceania Zonals, which were held in Carnival City, South Africa, earlier this month. The USQRA Commissioner has also posted the US Mid-Season rankings on the US Forum.

Would anyone care to speculate as to where some of the top Canadian club or provincial teams might fit in to that US Top-20 list?

It's worth noting that it took the Kiwis 3 overtime periods to get past the Aussies, by a score of 44-43, and hold on to their #1 world ranking. Cherie Harris posted some nice shots from their Zonals, which you can check out at your leisure.

I think London and BC could give any one of those top 5 teams a run! As far as Quebec and Saskatchewan 5 and 9....Alberta for sure #1 LOL see ya at Nationals!
