The North America Cup is a wrap, and closed with a couple of games that we would have like to have gone the other way, but lessons were learned and will be applied to the 8-team Canada Cup tournament which this tournament leads in to.

The US finished up with a clean sweep 5-0 record, beating NZL and GB on their way to first place, with GB beating Canada and then losing to the US to earn 2nd place honours. The NZL-CAN game wasn't hotly contested, and we'll see a better game from both teams should they meet in a crossover or playoff game at the Canada Cup.

Final results from the Nor-Am were:

1. USA (5-0)
2. GBR (2-3)
3. NZL (1-4)
4. CAN (2-3)

Daniel Paradis, Patrice Simard, and Ian Chan earned 3 of the 4 tournament all-star awards offered at this international competition. On the Basketball side of things, Canada came out on top, with GB 2nd and USA 3rd.

Today is a transportation day, so I don't expect any game reports from people until tomorrow.

Full player profiles are available on the Canada Cup page, hyperlinked to the name of their country in the Participant section.
