Hi I am Sgt Richard A. Jackson, founder of the Wisconsin Highland Games. I am seeking information and p.o.c. to assist me in creating a challenged athlete class for Highland Heavy Athletics. I am looking for information on abilities classes, rules, assistive equipment, athletes and coaches for the heavy throws (shot put, discus, weights for distance est.) for the challenged athlete. With this information and assistance, I am in hopes, that we can develop a set of rules to meet the abilities classes for as many Highland Heavy Athletic events as possible and invite all athletes to compete in the Heavy Highland Events at the Wisconsin Highland Games. I am also attempting to find contact information of other sports traditionally contested at Highland Games i.e.: the other Track & Field Events, Rugby, Rowing, Singlestick (a type of sports fencing using wooden sticks), Battle Axe throw and Traditional Long Bow Archery for the challenged athlete in witch to contest treatments at the Highland Games. Your assistance with this project would be appreciated.
