The results of Pools A through D, which was held on the first day of the Derby, as well as the results of the Group 1 and Group 2 pools are now available on the USQRA web site.

On the first day, the Nordiques placed 1st in Pool A, defeating the tournament high-seed Lakeshore Demolition and the tournament low-seed team from Kentucky. The Ice melted against Texas while they froze out the Suncoast Lightning by a 5-goal margin.

The two Canadian teams found themselves in the same pool on the second day of the Demolition Derby and both teams took losses against the #3 seeded Aussies while beating the #6 team, the California Quake. The Nordiques edged the Ice to take 2nd place in Group 1.

The matchups in today’s games seem as clear as an early morning windshield on an icy Canadian car in February. It appears that the 9:00 game has the 4th team in G2 playing against the 3rd team in G1, which puts the London England Broncos up against the Canadian benefactors of the "Ice, Ice, Baby" chants that are often heard in the stands.

The 10:30 games features Australia vs. Phoenix, and then it gets hard to determine because the posted teams are from an earlier pool or copied from the format of another tournament:
